National Women’s Checkup Day

Today is National Women’s Checkup Day.

As parents, we tend to put our health and well-being at the bottom of the priority list. As the days go by and we’re busy working, cooking, cleaning, carpooling, homeschooling, and making important appointments for our family members, we forget to schedule in time for ourselves. So, today is a great reminder for all women to schedule those annual checkups to maintain physical and mental well-being. These checkups should include discussions with your physician about your overall health habits including sleep and mood; family history changes; health and fitness goals; as well as screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol, cervical cancer and mammograms.

Until next time, Agape, be kind and happy parenting!
