Why MapsCookingKids.com

As a new parent, many moms and dads struggle with knowing what to do or trusting their instincts on what is best for their child. As parents of multiple children, sometimes it’s hard to sift through the amount of information and determine what is helpful and what is just a person’s opinion. MapsCookingKids combines our research-based information with our personal experiences so that you, the parent, can decide what is the best decision for you and your family.

MapsCookingKids was created to help parents who are:

  • Feeling overwhelmed with how to take care of an infant.
  • Looking for ideas on traditional homeschooling, virtual home education, or tips on teaching your child foreign languages.
  • Struggling with feelings of depression, anxiety, isolation, or burn out.
  • Having a hard time adjusting to being a working or stay-at-home mom or dad.
  • Wondering what other parents do when faced with food allergies, high-spirited children, or ADHD.
  • Always worrying about how to cook gluten-free, or balanced, nutritious meals for your family.
  • Wanting family friendly recommendations on places to visit. lodging, or places to eat.
  • In desperate need of advice on traveling with a toddler or infant.

“I decided to become a parent later in life. I know how important the first few years of a child’s development is and I wanted to stay at home with my children. I believe that raising children is the most important job a parent has in this world. That said, in order to be the best dad I could, I began researching parenting advice, strategies, and tips before my children were born. I found that much of it lacked the personal experiences I craved. I was driven to meet this need for parents. So, I began my own journey into finding those stories and information to support parents like me. And, that’s how MapsCookingKids was born! I engaged a team of parents (mostly moms) to share their personal experiences as well as research important topics for today’s parent. We hope you find what you are looking for on our website. You can follow me, personally, on Twitter and Instagram. Or, find out more about MapsCookingKids on Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. Happy parenting!” – Ray
